Abstract

Grammar controls a novice author. He follows grammar strictly. He has to follow it. He is bound to follow it. Otherwise, his writings, considering as rubbish, will be rejected mercilessly and thrown into the dustbin and he will become a laughing stock. As such he is afraid of both grammar and editor as well. Now, whether grammar controls him or the editor controls him more is a million-dollar question. In contrast, an established author does not follow grammar. The learned contends that he will not follow grammar rather grammar will follow him. He is not for grammar, rather grammar is for him. If he does not write, grammar will not exist. Life and death of grammar fully depends upon his writings. As such he does not care grammar so much, rather he gives due attention to his feeling conveyed through message. Grammar restricts. It hinders. He prioritizes expression. Thus, he controls the established rules.
